The books on this list are all part of DC's Absolute Universe. These are amazing, new takes on classic heroes that twist and subvert expectations while still staying true to established mythos. The rating system and order don't really matter here. They are all amazing, and even Flash's 4/5 is just because the entire story needed a little more to get going. It is still amazing.
My next two books are Absolute Wonder Woman Vol. 2 and Absolute Martian Manhunter Vol. 1. Wonder Woman is next because I greatly enjoyed the first volume and want to continue the story. Martian Manhunter follows because he has always been one of the most interesting heroes in DC Comics, and I am curious to see how the Absolute Universe reimagines his character.
